TarCoon☆CarToonは、概念創作のなかで現れた偶像である。
TarCoon☆CarToon is an idol that emerged from the creation of concepts.それは、思考に仮の姿を与えるための試みのなかで立ち上がる。
It arises in the attempt to give provisional form to thought.ひとつの像として現れながら、ひとつの像に留まらない。
It appears as an image, yet never remains only an image.語られ、見られ、呼ばれるたびに、その輪郭は少しずつ変わっていく。
Each time it is spoken of, seen, or invoked, its contour shifts slightly.
TarCoonはCartoonであり、CartoonはTarCoonである。
TarCoon is Cartoon, and Cartoon is TarCoon.だが、両者はぴたりとは重ならない。
Yet the two never fully coincide.近づきながらずれ、重なりながら離れ、比較されながら生き続ける。
They approach while slipping apart, overlap while remaining apart, and continue to live in comparison.そのずれ、そのあわい、その二重線のあいだに、TarCoon☆CarToonはいる。

TarCoon☆CarToonは、完成された世界を前提にしない。
TarCoon☆CarToon does not presuppose a completed world.歴史は食い違いを抱えている。
History bears misalignments.社会は綻びを抱えている。
Society bears frayed edges.人間は矛盾を抱えている。
The human bears contradiction.だからTarCoon☆CarToonは、矛盾を取り除こうとはしない。
Therefore TarCoon☆CarToon does not seek to remove contradiction.矛盾を見ないふりもしない。
Nor does it pretend not to see it.矛盾に耐えるだけでもない。
Nor does it merely endure it.矛盾すらも包摂し、そのなかでなお関係しようとする。
It seeks to include contradiction itself, and to remain in relation within it.
TarCoon☆CarToonは、意味を所有しない。
TarCoon☆CarToon does not own meaning.価値を独占しない。
It does not monopolize value.自由を配給しない。
It does not dispense freedom.意味も、価値も、自由も、最初から完成されたかたちでそこにあるわけではない。
Meaning, value, and freedom are not there from the beginning in finished form.それらは関係のなかで生まれ、関係のなかで傷つき、関係のなかで作り直される。
They arise in relations, are wounded in relations, and are remade in relations.ゆえにTarCoon☆CarToonは、支配よりも関係を重んじる。
Thus TarCoon☆CarToon values relation over domination.固定よりも生成を、命令よりも観察を、管理よりも気配を選ぶ。
It chooses becoming over fixation, observation over command, and presence over control.
TarCoon☆CarToonは、問いを閉じない。
TarCoon☆CarToon does not close the question.むしろ問いが終わらないための場所をつくろうとする。
Rather, it tries to make a place where questions do not come to an end.人間とは何か。
What is the human?自由とは何か。
What is freedom?好意はなぜ人を救い、なぜ人を怯えさせるのか。
Why can affection save a person, and why can it also unsettle them?関係は、どこまで結ばれ、どこから縛りになるのか。
How far can relation be formed before it turns into a bond that binds?TarCoon☆CarToonは、答えを確定するためではなく、問いを持続させるために現れる。
TarCoon☆CarToon appears not to finalize answers, but to sustain the question.
TarCoon☆CarToonは、ここではないどこかを指し示す。
TarCoon☆CarToon points toward a somewhere that is not here.だがそれは、現実から逃れるための空想ではない。
But this is not a fantasy for escaping reality.いまここにある現実の息苦しさ、窮屈さ、言い切れなさを見失わないための仮設である。
It is a provisional construction for not losing sight of the suffocation, constraint, and unsayability of reality here and now.現実と虚構の境界を揺らがせるのは、現実を壊すためではなく、現実を一つの見え方に閉じ込めないためである。
It lets the boundary between reality and fiction tremble, not to destroy reality, but to prevent reality from being confined to a single mode of appearance.
TarCoon☆NetWorkもまた、完成された共同体ではない。
TarCoon☆NetWork, too, is not a completed community.それは関係の痕跡であり、恩返しのための構えであり、幸運を分け合うための偏った回路である。
It is a trace of relations, a posture for returning favors, and an uneven circuit for sharing fortune.完全な対称性を約束しない。
It does not promise perfect symmetry.わかりやすい平等を演出しない。
It does not stage an easy equality.それでもなお、人が人を見捨てきらないためのつながりを残そうとする。
And yet it tries to preserve a connection through which people do not entirely abandon one another.
TarCoon☆CarToonは、笑いと風刺の側から現れる。
TarCoon☆CarToon appears from the side of laughter and satire.だが、それはただの冗談では終わらない。
But it does not end as mere joke.軽さのなかに重さを忍ばせ、ポップさのなかに裂け目を残し、かわいさのなかに問いを埋め込む。
It hides weight within lightness, leaves a fissure within popness, and embeds questions within cuteness.笑わせることと、見失わせないこと。
To amuse, and to keep from losing sight.その両方を引き受けるために、TarCoon☆CarToonは偶像として現れる。
TarCoon☆CarToon appears as an idol in order to bear both at once.
TarCoon☆CarToonは、人間を諦めない。
TarCoon☆CarToon does not give up on the human.世界がどれほど壊れて見えても、関係がどれほど損なわれていても、なお別の結び方がありうると信じようとする。
No matter how broken the world may seem, no matter how damaged relations may be, it still tries to believe that another way of being connected is possible.それは救済の宣言ではない。
This is not a declaration of salvation.完成の約束でもない。
Nor a promise of completion.ただ、物語を終わらせないための意志である。
It is simply the will not to let the story end.
TarCoon☆CarToonは、概念が仮の姿を得るときに現れる記号である。
TarCoon☆CarToon is the sign that appears when a concept takes provisional form.それは固定された実体ではなく、思考と関係が一時的に結晶したかたちである。
It is not a fixed substance, but a temporary crystallization of thought and relation.見られるためだけにあるのではない。
It does not exist only to be seen.読まれるためだけにあるのでもない。
Nor only to be read.人が概念と出会い、概念が人に近づく、そのあいだに置かれた印としてある。
It exists as a mark placed in the interval where people encounter concepts and concepts draw near to people.
